Your winter experience.
Step onto a frozen lake near Rovaniemi and discover the quiet rhythm of ice fishing. With forest along the shoreline and a winter sky overhead, there is time to slow down and enjoy the surroundings. Your English-speaking guide introduces the equipment and helps you get started at a hole in the ice, whether this is your first attempt or you have tried it before.
Settle in, watch the line and enjoy the small details of a day outdoors. The fishing spot is chosen for the day's ice and weather conditions, giving each outing its own character. A hot drink adds a warming pause as you spend time on the lake and get a feel for this northern winter pastime.
